Board of Directors and Executive Committee
The Board of Directors guides and supervises the activities of Finnpilot. The Board decides on the strategic policies and appoints the Managing Director and upper management of the company. The composition of the Board of Directors is decided on annually by the shareholders’ meeting.
The CEO heads and develops the activities of Finnpilot, oversees its daily administration and ensures that the accounting is carried out as prescribed by law and asset management is carried out in a trustworthy manner. The CEO reports on the activities of the company to the Board of Directors and is responsible for achieving the objectives set for the business activities in accordance with the principles set by the Board of Directors.
The Executive Committee bears responsibility for the impacts of the company’s activities on society, the environment and the stakeholders. The Executive Committee assists the CEO in the implementation of operational tasks.
